Big Lew, the owner of Gametime, built his business around a vision that goes beyond cutting hair. Gametime was created from his passion for sports and his belief that barbering and athletics can bring people together, create connections, and strengthen the community.
BUILT AROUND SPORTS
Big Lew developed Gametime with a Minnesota Vikings-themed identity to attract attention, connect with the local sports community, and create opportunities to achieve one of his biggest dreams: cutting the hair of a professional athlete, especially a Vikings player.
BIG LEW HAS CUT THE HAIR OF FAMOUS NAMES
Big Lew's experience extends beyond the GameTime barbershop. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to cut the hair of notable personalities, including Dave Chappelle.

Big Lew is also the founder of C.L.P. (Community Love Project), a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back and creating positive opportunities within the community.Through both Gametime and C.L.P., Big Lew is focused on making a difference in the lives of young people, particularly Black youth. He uses his businesses and community work as platforms to mentor, encourage, and inspire the next generation. His goal is to show young people that with passion, dedication, and the right opportunities, they can build successful futures for themselves while also giving back to their communities. For Big Lew, Gametime is more than a barbershop, and C.L.P. is more than a nonprofit. Together, they represent his commitment to community, sports, mentorship, opportunity, and giving back.
